In operation since November 1982, TV-7 was the first low-power community station on air in the state of Mississippi.
We are now a Licensed Low-Power Digital Television Station: 7.1 & 34.1 in Calhoun County, with 3 extra sub-channels.
We are also on Channel 98 on the MaxxSouth Cable System in Calhoun, Chickasaw, Lafayette, Monroe, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Union, and Yalobusha Counties.
Our main objective is to promote community activities, cover high school and junior college sports, and other news events such as graduations, beauty reviews, parades, and banquets through the use of local TV coverage. To help acheive community awareness, we cover county Board of Supervisor’s meetings, City Board meetings, and School Board meetings. Broadcasting these meetings are a way of keeping the public informed on issues that affect our county and the elected officials that govern and make these decisions.
